Junior Olympics is a fun and exciting event for SVUSD students. It is a day of competition, sportsmanship, and community spirit. Every year over 1,000-plus student athletes participate in this citywide event. Students showcase their athletic skills and sportsmanship in a variety of challenging, inspiring track and field events.Â
For many students, the Junior Olympics provides their first exposure to competitive sports like track and field and volleyball. The events offer a chance for these athletes to test their skills against their peers. For many former Junior Olympics athletes, these events served as a stepping stone for SVUSD middle school and high school sports team participation.

VOLUNTEER!
The Junior Olympics is 100% volunteer run outside of the professional timing services hired. That means we need your help! Students 6th grade and older are invited to volunteer for hours! Parents and community members are encouraged to volunteer. Links to sign up will be provided as we approach the event date.
